How can I use 2FA without a phone number?
Step 1: Sign in using your primary Google account and go to Google 2-Step Verification. Once in, tap on the Get Started button. If you've set 2FA already, then you'll see the date at the top. Apart from that, you'll also see the other 2FA methods that already exist for your account.
What happens if you don t have your phone for two factor authentication?
If you didn't save your backup codes, and you've lost the phone that you use for 2-factor authentication – try calling your phone network to transfer your old number over to a new phone. You'll need a new SIM card for that, and it could take a day or two for it to activate.
