Why aren t my interactive components working in Figma?

Clear your selection by clicking an empty spot on the canvas or pressing Esc . Navigate to the Prototype tab in the right sidebar. In the Interactive components section, check the option to Enable interactive components .

How do I create a swap instance in Figma?

Open the Assets panel and find the component. Drag the component above the instance you want to swap in the canvas. Release the mouse, then release the modifier key. If you release the modifier key first, Figma will only add the new component, not replace.
