What is app usage data?
App usage data refers to either aggregated statistics or pseudonymized information about the general usage of smartphone apps, such as installs, screen time, interactions. Key sources for mobile app usage data are app publishers, mobile app SDKs, and SSPs using bidstream data.
How do I track app usage?
Digital Wellbeing (free for Android)
Android's equivalent to Screen Time is the Digital Wellbeing option you'll find in Settings. Tap on the overview chart that appears on the front screen to see a more detailed breakdown of where all your time has gone and which apps are sucking up your attention.
Why do apps collect data from users?
This data is collected to provide us with a lot of facilities and features which have made our lives easier. Another reason to collect the data is to provide us with customized recommendations and notifications according to our choices.
