What is aria-label in material UI?
The purpose of aria-label is the same as aria-labelledby . Both provide an accessible name for an element. If there is no visible name for the element you can reference, use aria-label to provide the user with a recognizable accessible name.
Is aria-label necessary?
Labels are important. They can create a logic connection between an element and its description. In the case of the <input> element we'll use the <label> element to describe what the <input> is about.
How does aria-label work?
Description. The purpose of this technique is to provide a label for objects that can be read by assistive technology. The aria-label attribute provides the text label for an object, such as a button. When a screen reader encounters the object, the aria-label text is read so that the user will know what it is.
