Usable: Site must be easy to use. Desirable: Image, identity, brand, and other design elements are used to evoke emotion and appreciation. Findable: Content needs to be navigable and locatable onsite and offsite. Accessible: Content needs to be accessible to people with disabilities.
How does timing affect the user experience?
User experience is a matter of pace not speed.
Timing is of paramount importance when you design user experience, I'm not only speaking about digital products. Any service sets user expectations about time, missing these expectations will create frictions and unhappy users.
What is acceptable latency for user experience?
0.1 second is about the limit for having the user feel that the system is reacting instantaneously, meaning that no special feedback is necessary except to display the result. 1.0 second is about the limit for the user's flow of thought to stay uninterrupted, even though the user will notice the delay.
How does user experience affect a websites performance?
The longer it takes for a user to do something on your website, the more likely they are to give up. This will damage conversion rates. A 1-second delay in page load time results in a 7% drop in conversion and if increased to 4 seconds, 25% of users will simply abandon the page (source – Neil Patel).
