How do I center my Google search?
Press Alt + Spacebar keys together, then select Move from the menu that appears. Now tap the left/right or up/down arrow keys to move the browser to whichever position you like. When you have positioned the browser where you want it, close the browser.
Why are Google search results not centered?
For over a decade, Google results were left aligned. When Google Instant was launched, the results were centered in a fixed-width layout. This was done primarily to facilitate the transition from a centered homepage layout to the results.
Why are my Google search results on the left side?
That's the normal behavior for Google, especially at higher resolutions. What you can do in your web browser is zoom in or scale it up further so results can be dead center. You can hold your CTRL key and move up on the scroll wheel, or hold CTRL and + or the - key to zoom in or out respectively. Hope this helps.
Can you customize Google search results?
Change the look and feel of search results:
On the Control Panel, on the left-hand menu, click Look and feel. In the Choose a layout section, click the layout you want. In the Choose or customize a style section, select the style you want. To make changes to your selected style, click Customize.
