What is the new CIPD profession map?
The Profession Map identifies four different impact levels and details the knowledge and behaviours required to excel at each of them. This means you can see exactly what it takes to make a positive contribution, whether you're a senior leader, a dedicated specialist or just starting out in your field.
When was the CIPD profession map created?
In 2009, the CIPD launched a set of standards created by the profession for the profession to set the benchmark for what successful and effective HR and L&D people do and deliver across every aspect and specialism of the profession. In 2018 the Profession Map set the international standard for people professionals.
