What questions should I ask for user research?
Questions about the people e.g., who they are, how they use products, what they want to accomplish, how likely are they to use the product. Questions about the product e.g., how users' feel about content or design, can they navigate the product, how usable is it, what features do they like or dislike.
What makes a good UX research question?
Open-ended UX research questions prompt long, free-form responses. They're qualitative rather than quantitative and can't be answered easily with yes or no, or a word or two. They're easy to recognize because they begin with terms like how, why, what, describe, and tell me.
