How are devices connected to network?
Connected devices are typically monitored and controlled remotely. They connect with the internet and each other via various wired and wireless networks and protocols, such as WiFi, NFC, 3G and 4G networks.
What are the connecting devices?
There are five kinds of connecting devices: repeaters, hubs, bridges, and two- and three-layer switches. Repeaters and hubs operate in the first layer of the Internet model. Bridges and two-layer switches operate in the first two layers. Routers and three-layer switches operate in the first three layers.
How WSN can be used to connect IoT devices?
WSN protocols in IoT are used to provide a connectivity medium between IoT sensor nodes and a central gateway. IoT consists of different tech stacks, WSN is just one and is a subset of IoT. It is a part where data is transmitted among several IoT devices mostly without internet.
