Is AB testing unethical?
Here's another point that should be obvious: Some uses of A/B testing are clearly unethical. Consider a study where a service falsely tells teens that their parents are dead, or a study that tries to see if a service can incite ethnic violence in a war-torn region.
What is conversion in AB testing?
A conversion rate optimization (CRO) test is used to determine which changes to your site will have the best possible outcome. This is usually an A/B or multivariate test, but there are numerous other methods of testing that can be deployed.
