What is bulk action?
Bulk actions or bulk editing is an efficient way to complete certain actions to multiple sections at one time as opposed to completing the same action multiple times. For example, you can perform a bulk action to: Enable multiple users at the same time. Add multiple users to the same group.
What some alternative ways to present tabular data instead of the standard table in the UI?
In nutshell, it follows the principle of 'Less is more' by removing colors, removing grid lines, aligning items based their types (Numbers or String) etc. Also another method would be to use graphical elements like Pie Charts, graph bars etc.
How does data table work?
A data table is a range of cells in which you can change values in some of the cells and come up with different answers to a problem. A good example of a data table employs the PMT function with different loan amounts and interest rates to calculate the affordable amount on a home mortgage loan.
