Is there a Delete key on Android?
Just drag your finger along the spacebar to move the cursor between letters. There's a similar "delete word" gesture that works by dragging a finger from the backspace key to the left. Each letter crossed over will highlight the previous word, and releasing your finger will delete the selection.

Where is the delete on a smartphone or tablet? On an Android and Apple iPhone smartphone and iPad tablet, there are no delete keys that delete text to the right of the cursor. However, there is a Backspace that deletes text to the left of the cursor.
