If your child over 13 (or the applicable age in your country) wants a Google Account, they can create their own account. Then, you can add supervision to your child's account. To create a Google Account for your child, you're required to give parental consent. One way to provide consent is by using your credit card.
Can you have an email under 18?
What is an appropriate age for a child to get an email account? Most email providers require that a user be 13 or older to sign up for an email account. This is not so different from other apps that kids will be asking to download soon enough.
Can a 13 year old use Google?
When the child is ready, they can choose to manage their own account. The child can decide to set up parental supervision for children over 13 (or the applicable age in your country). Important: The child must decide to manage their Google Account before they turn 18.
