What are automatically renewing subscriptions?
Auto-renewal (also known as autorenewal or automatic renewal) is a billing model in which a customer's subscription to a service (like a software subscription) is automatically renewed at the end of an agreed upon period of time.
What does manual renewal mean?
In case of manual renewal you will have to enter your payment data every time you renew your subscription. Please, note that manual renewal only possible if done before or within 5 days after the date of the upcoming charge. After this period, your subscription expires and can no longer be prolonged.
Is automatic renewal legal?
Auto-renewal laws generally compel companies to clearly and conspicuously notify consumers about what they are signing up for, obtain consumers' affirmative consent to subscribe, provide an order acknowledgment, send a reminder notice (in some cases), and facilitate easy cancellation.
