What is the Ideal Mobile Font Size? The ideal mobile site has text that is comfortably readable when the user is looking at their phone at a comfortable distance. The ideal base font size for mobile screens is 16 pixels. Anything smaller and users will have to pinch and zoom to read.
What size should h1 be on mobile?

On mobile: 32px or 2em or smaller, since it uses up too much space. I use this as the maximum for my font sizes. For the other headings, you would pick some values in between that will still create a visual hierarchy. In most cases, you only need to style your <h1> to <h4> .
