How do I enforce a GPO password policy?
At the Local Group Policy editor, navigate to the following setting: Computer Configuration | Windows Settings | Security Settings | Account Policies | Password Policy. You'll find the specific policies that you can set. Let's review each one.
What is account lockout policy?
The Account lockout threshold policy setting determines the number of failed sign-in attempts that will cause a user account to be locked. A locked account can't be used until you reset it or until the number of minutes specified by the Account lockout duration policy setting expires.
