What are question weights?
An effective way to measure respondent sentiment is by assigning numbers to each answer option in a question—which we refer to as weighting a question. Once your survey responses come back, you can use the numbers to understand how respondents feel and how attached they are to their opinions.
How do you weight ranked data?
The easiest way is weighting the criteria by ranks in either ascending or descending order. Ascending means that the most important criterion is given rank 1, the second criterion rank 2 etc. When ranking in descending order, rank 1 is given to the least important criterion etc.
