How do I change the look of Google Search results?
Change the look and feel of search results:
On the Control Panel, on the left-hand menu, click Look and feel. In the Choose a layout section, click the layout you want. In the Choose or customize a style section, select the style you want. To make changes to your selected style, click Customize.
Why does my Google Search results look different?
There are many reasons for this, but essentially Google makes decisions about what result type works best for a given query, user, time, place, and many other factors. Sometimes we decide that a specific rich result isn't the best result for that query.
How are search results displayed?
The results are normally ranked by relevance to the query. Each result displayed on the SERP normally includes a title, a link that points to the actual page on the Web, and a short description showing where the keywords have matched content within the page for organic results.
Why has Google changed its format?
It happens from time-to-time. While Google doesn't make large-scale changes regularly, when it does, it consults data-backed sources. Because Google is a user-based company, a lot of these changes happen in order to make it a better user experience. This change was first rolled out for mobile users last year.
