How do you deal with the death of a customer?

You cannot “fix it”, but you can help the customer by: Acknowledging their loss. Expressing empathy with a genuine, sincere empathy statement such “I am so sorry for your loss or” “I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult that must be for you”. Listening to and accepting strong emotions.

What is a professional way to say someone died?

A somewhat formal (and blunt) synonym is demise. The word expiration is sometimes used, but usually sounds a bit literary or old-fashioned. The word end is sometimes used similarly, as in He finally met his end.

What are the five stages of confronting death?

A Swiss American psychiatrist and pioneer of studies on dying people, Kübler-Ross wrote “On Death and Dying,” the 1969 book in which she proposed the patient-focused, death-adjustment pattern, the “Five Stages of Grief.” Those stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
