A sub-navigation displays an extra set of navigation links for the current section of a website. This allows users to easily navigate between pages.
What is horizontal navigation?
The horizontal navigation bar is the most common type of navigation menu. It lists the major pages side-by-side and is placed in the website header.
How do I change my navigation bar from vertical to horizontal?
In the top bar click on the settings icon and then click on change the look. Once in the change the look menu, open the navigation option. Choose horizontal, this will move your menu to the top section of the page to an area that until now was empty.
What is a disadvantage of vertical navigation?
The main drawback to using vertical navigation compared to horizontal navigation is that it takes up more space and, as a result, there is less room available for content. Vertical navigation usually results in pages with a lower content-to-chrome ratio than horizontal navigation.
