Most bank and financial websites don't allow users to copy a piece of text to the clipboard using the mouse or keyboard shortcut for security reasons. It's because it's only a UI solution. It blocks a normal user from copying from the browser, but if you go into the browser's inspect tool, everything is still laid out in plain text. So in reality there is no way to stop all attempt of copying a website.
