How do I encourage users to log in?
Get your users to log in by considering what features and promotions incentivize you to take the extra step and consistently log in to your favorite websites. Using the right popups, promotions or calls-to-action will encourage your users to log in immediately, every time, from all of their devices.
Why is user login important?
Login creates a user account.
This means that users are uniquely identifiable within your product. For users this frequently means that they can see their own profile and information, change that information, and keep track of what are the identifiers on their account (profile picture, username, etc.)
