How do I make text smooth?
Open the Control Panel. Double-click the Display icon. In the Display menu, click the Effects tab and check the box on smooth edges on-screen fonts. After that, click Apply and then click Ok.
What is font anti-aliasing?
Antialiasing refers to the smoothing of jagged edges of drawn graphics and text to improve their appearance or readability. With the managed GDI+ classes, you can render high quality antialiased text, as well as lower quality text.
How can we control anti-aliasing?
Aliasing is removed using four methods: Using high-resolution display, Post filtering (Supersampling), Pre-filtering (Area Sampling), Pixel phasing.
