We have recently been asked a few questions about what happens to your follower requests once you change your account from private to public. If you have pending follower requests on your private account and then you turn it public any pending follower requests you have are automatically accepted.
What will happen to my pending follow requests if I temporarily disable my Instagram account?
No, because your account will not appear in instagram anymore when you deactivate it. Your account will be deducted from their followers list but when you reactivate your account, it will add back automatically without them knowing.
What happens when you change Instagram from public to private?
If your account is public: Anyone can like or comment on your photos and videos. If you want to prevent specific people from liking or commenting on your posts, you can block them. If your account is private: Only the people you've approved as followers will be able to like or comment on your photos and videos.
