How does Gboard predictive text work?

Type a word. At the top of the keyboard, you'll see suggestions: If you see the word you want, tap it. If you don't like a suggested word, touch and hold it, and then drag the word to Trash.

How do I turn off prediction on Gboard?

Go to the keyboard app's settings. Scroll down and look for “Text Correction” or something similar. Tap on “Predictive Text” or “Next-Word Suggestions” to toggle the feature off.

Does Google keyboard track?
