Overview of date and time formats
The dates appear as, mm/dd/yyyy in the U.S. and as, dd/mm/yyyy outside the U.S. where mm is the month, dd is the day, and yyyy is the year. The time is displayed as, hh:mm:ss AM/PM, where hh is the hour, mm is minutes, and ss is seconds.
How to display date and time JavaScript?
In JavaScript, we can easily get the current date or time by using the new Date() object. By default, it uses our browser's time zone and displays the date as a full text string, such as "Fri Jun 17 2022 10:54:59 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time)" that contains the current date, time, and time zone.
How do you write date and time together?
If you need to write both the time and date, just combine the rules. Here are two examples: My flight arrives on December 13 at 10:40 a.m. Your appointment is at 2 o'clock on February 27, 2022.
