How do I verify an unverified app?

To start the verification process for apps, do the following steps: Update the OAuth consent screen details in the Google Cloud Platform Console APIs & Services Credentials: You must have a privacy policy URL. Add URLs for your homepage and Terms of Service if you have them.

What is an unverified account?

Unverified Account means an Account where we have been unable to verify your personal details. An Unverified Account will remain inactive until we have been able to verify your identity and approve your application.

When a third-party app requests access to your Google Account, you may get a warning if the app has not completed the Google verification process. Those unverified third-party apps that request access to your sensitive account data may not have been reviewed for compliance with Google's data security policies.

How long does it take for Google to verify you?

You should get the code straight away, but it can take up to seven days. Tip: The charge or hold on your account is temporary. Charges are refunded within 30 days.
