How do you write a plain text email?
On the File tab, choose Options > Mail. Under Compose messages, in the Compose messages in this format list, click HTML, Plain Text, or Rich Text.
How do you include plain text in HTML email?
Click on Format Text in the Menu bar. Under the Format Text, you will get an option to toggle between HTML text, plain text, and Rich text. You can choose the HTML option and then send your email.
Should I send email in HTML or plain text?
While HTML email still has issues, most notably with compatibility, it still wins in the end. Plain text emails are often reliable in terms of email deliverability. Still, when it comes to overall user experience, visual display, and brand consistency, HTML wins out, hands down.
