Should websites be colorful?

You can use colors to stir your visitor's emotions or respond to a call-to-action on your website. Color helps us to process and store images more efficiently than colorless (black and white) images, this can help increase brand recognition and help prompt visitors to your site to take action.

How many colours is too many for a website?

Whilst there is no definite answer to the number of colours you should have on your site, most go with 2-3 colours. We would personally recommend picking 2 colours and using your brand colours as the third colour. This will help you create a nice balance on your website whilst also maintaining your brand's identity.
