Should you use placeholder text?
Placeholder text can be used as an attribute for almost every HTML input type, and misguided designers and developers don't hesitate. It is tempting to provide text help for complex forms or omit input labels to improve aesthetics. However, employing placeholder text to do so causes many usability issues.
Why are placeholders important?
Placeholders are frequently used to provide important input formatting instructions or are used in place of a more appropriate label element (more on that in a bit).
What is watermark field?
Watermark , located inside a form field, is an additional tip, description or example of the desired answer for a specific field. These tips usually disappear when the user types in the field. EX: Field Name, watermark 'John Smith' or 'Enter your Name'
What is a field placeholder?
A field placeholder is a field name enclosed between <% and %>. Email Parser will replace it with the actual captured text when an email is processed. For example <%From%> will be replaced with the email address of the sender of the email being processed.
