Should emails be left-aligned?

The body of your email should be aligned "flush left". The research shows that left-aligned texts stick to one's memory better than justified texts and increase reading speed. Flush left alignment looks familiar to most of us: lots of information we see every day is left-aligned.

Should you center text in an email?

For transactional emails, it's better to give the information front and center so that the user can easily get the information he's looking for. So, it will work for little content with a direct CTA. However,if you even have a paragraph of content, don't center align it. It has readability issues.

Should headings be centered or left-aligned?

Text and headings should be flush left

Accordingly, text and headings should not be centered, flush right, or justified. As a left-to-right language, scanning English centered and flush right text is more difficult because location of the beginning of the lines changes.
