What is a ghost button?
A 'Ghost button' is the name given to those buttons that have a label and an outline but no solid fill, where the body of the button adopts the look of the background. They are commonly used on websites and user interfaces with simple and minimalistic aesthetics.
How much padding should a button have?
Button padding is one of the most important aspects of button styling. My personal styling is to set vertical padding equal to font height, and set horizontal padding to 1.33 times vertical height. If a font height is 20px, vertical padding is 20px, and horizontal padding would be 27px.
