Should sidebar be on left or right?
The sidebar traditionally goes on the left or the top side because usually a sidebar containing important links which are much needed for quicker access and need to be drawn attention to by the user.
Why are menus on the left?
The hamburger menu icon was first introduced in the early days of the web (when we did not design for mobile screens), and it was usually placed in the top-left corner of the screen. This was because the top-left corner was the traditional location for the menu bar.
What is the left sidebar?
In short, a sidebar is a column placed to the right or left of a webpage's primary content area. They're commonly used to display various types of supplementary information for users, such as: Navigational links to key pages.
What is a right side bar?
The Right Sidebar allows for adding deeper navigation into a section of the website. In addition to having an expandable navigation, there are multiple components that can be added to the sidebar.
