What happens to an unread email that has passed the expiry date set by the sender?
When the expiration date passes, the message remains visible in the message list with a strikethrough. It can still be opened, but the strikethrough gives a visual clue that the message is out of date or no longer relevant.
Why does it keep saying my email is out of date?
Check your password
The most common cause of an out-of-date account is an incorrect password. Select Fix account in the notification bar at the top of the Mail or Calendar app. If your password is incorrect, you'll see a message asking you to update your password.
What happens when an email expires?
Do note that the expiring emails won't disappear on the sender's end and they will find it in the “Sent” folder. The sender will have to manually delete the expiring email if an individual doesn't want it to exists. You can send messages and attachments confidentially on Gmail via both mobile and computer.
What is pop out in email?
This means that your reply/forward message is typed within the preview pane. Previous versions of Outlook always opened a new window for your replies/forwards. To start a new window for replies/forwards click on the 'Pop Out' icon that appears at the top of the preview pane once you have started a reply/forward.
