What is a module tab?

A module tab is a User Interface (UI) design pattern where content is separated into different panes, and each pane is viewable one at a time. The user requests content to be displayed by clicking (or in some instances hovering over) the content's corresponding tab control.

What are tabs on a website?

Tabs are a navigation element used in web design that allow users to easily access different areas of a site or different parts of an individual page. They're sort of like tabbed dividers in a filing cabinet – by clicking a tab, users can easily locate a page containing related content.

What are navigation tabs?

Navigation tabs are derived from the idea of folders in a file-cabinet and are thus familiar to the end user. Navigation tabs provide a clear visual indication of what content can be found on a website and places the current location in context by highlighting it.

What is a module in UX?

As part of the user interface design process, a module is a small, self-contained part of a graphical user interface (GUI) that provides a specific function or set of functions. It can be a standalone control within a window, or it can be a group of related controls.
