What are nested filters?
Nested query filters allow you to create more complex filter conditions than is possible when you combine filters at the same level. When you nest filters, you set the order in which they are evaluated.
What are filters in UI design?
Filters provide a set of controls to reduce items in a collection based on attributes the user is interested in (e.g., filtering items by creation date). Filters can provide the following functionality: A list of interesting attributes common to items in a collection, and possible values to filter by.
Should filters be on left or right?
4. Filter bars better showcase filters. By making the filters more prominent on the page and by making them available as the user scrolls a filter bar does a better job of showcasing filters. Presenting filters left to right also makes it very easy for users to quickly see what options are available.
