What is a new message request?
If someone who you're not connected with on Facebook sends you a message, you'll receive a message request. Replying to a message request connects you with the person who sent the request and lets you see any media they sent you.
How do I stop getting random text requests?
From the menu, tap Privacy. Tap Message Delivery. Tap on the people you want to control messages for. Select where to deliver their messages or tap Don't receive requests to stop receiving their messages.
How do I turn on new message requests on Messenger?
Open Messenger app on your smartphone. Now tap your profile photo in the top left corner. Then tap on Message Requests.
How do I allow new message requests from everyone on Instagram?
Tap or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile. Tap in the top right, then tap Settings. Tap Privacy, then tap Messages. Choose whether message requests from people on Instagram or Facebook go to your Chats list (inbox), Message Requests folder, or whether to receive them at all.
