What role do you play in a team?
In a team, different individuals have different roles to play. Here are four roles for a team: Leader, Facilitator, Coach or Member. All these are the components of a team, but remember that these need not be exclusive. A leader can act as a facilitator and a coach as well at different times.
How do you say you are a team player?
I have the ability to compromise, show respect to others and listen to the needs of my teammates. While I can be a leader when necessary, I can also play an equal role on the team when the situation merits.”
What makes a good team?
Effective teams pursue a common outcome and have a common goal they want to reach. Healthy teams have mutual respect between members of the team and management. Plus, team members value one another's contributions and skill sets. Having a team allows people with different strengths to work together.
