The behavioral response aspect of the emotional response is the actual expression of the emotion. Behavioral responses can include a smile, a grimace, a laugh or a sigh, along with many other reactions depending on societal norms and personality.

Emotional prediction is the process by which we discover what we already know. We evolved to have emotional reactions to events in the present, and thus, to find out how we will react to events in the future, we simply pretend those events are happening now.

Behavior is different from emotions but is very strongly influenced by them. One way that behavior is affected by emotions is through motivation, which drives a person's behavior. Emotions like frustration and boredom can lower motivation and, thus, lower the chance that we will act.
