Free software to set up screen-based eye trackers
The Tobii Pro Eye Tracker Manager allows researchers to easily configure the eye tracker when it's being used with a screen. This application is also used to configure the hardware in scene camera setups, where physical objects are used as stimuli.
What is predictive eye tracking?
Predictive eye tracking simulates human vision and allows you to measure the visual impact of your email and predict the areas that will generate the most interest, even before sending it to your recipients. You are thus able to optimize the rendering of your message to maximize your results.
Is eye tracking software accurate?
Accuracy is often reported by manufacturers to be < 0.5°. However, in particular for remote eye trackers, offset from the true gaze point is often found to be larger than 1° [5, 30], even in controlled environments.
