How do I preview a readme file?

In the IDE, the default view of a README.md file shows the source (markup) content. If you want to preview the file---that is, see it rendered in HTML---first open the README.md file, then click the Open Preview toggle in the top right of the IDE (as highlighted in the figure below).

To switch between views, press Ctrl+Shift+V in the editor. You can view the preview side-by-side (Ctrl+K V) with the file you are editing and see changes reflected in real-time as you edit.
