What should I ask in contextual inquiry?
Questions for contextual inquiries
Questions like, “What would you suggest to add to the product to make it better?” or, “What did you like/dislike about this product?” help participants articulate responses about their needs or formulate requests for changes.
Why are contextual inquiries so difficult?
The hardest part of a contextual inquiry is getting participants to actually perform tasks while talking to you about what they are doing. This requires them to take the lead in the session rather than sitting back and waiting for you to ask them questions, as they would in a traditional interview.
