For example, skill levels can be Trainee, Novice, Proficient, or Expert.

How do you represent your skills?

Assess your ability in each skill as accurately as you can. Ask yourself if you have used this skill a little or a lot. For each skill, write a sentence showing how you've used that skill. Then write a sentence showing how you could use that skill in the job you would like.

Should you put skill level on resume?

You don't need to include a competency level for each skill on your resume, but calling out your skill level is an option. Use this as a guide: Beginner: A novice understanding of the skill. You have exposure to the skill and understand basic concepts, but you lack experience.
