What is shoe closure?

Today, the footwear industry is booming with alternatives to traditional shoelaces, which all come with their own set of advantages. Most importantly, shoe closures are designed to keep your shoes, regardless of the type of closure and need to be properly fitted without causing damage to the feet.

What is the boa fit system?

The BOA closure system is a smart and patented system to pull on or out your safety shoes or boots. Classic laces are replaced by stainless steel wires, connected to a turning knob. This knob is used to tighten, loosen and snapping your laces into place.

Is the boa lacing system any good?

BOA is super convenient, feels a little stiffer and is easy to keep tight all day. If you want to adjust the upper and lower part of the boot separately, laces or a dual BOA system is the way to go. Hybrid-BOA is a great compromise between the two.

What is a closed lacing system?

Closed lacing is the term used when the two sides of the shoe's upper that are drawn together by the laces are sewn under the vamp (the front part of the shoe). This produces a sleek and dressy shoe, normally called the Oxford after the place that made them popular – Oxford University.
