Where should call to action be placed?
Call-to-action buttons placed towards the bottom or to the right of content often outperforms alternative placements. Most importantly, never force users to backtrack in order to click a button – CTA buttons should appear in appropriate places that align with a user's experience.
Where do you put the floating action button?
We simply need to have the ListView and FloatingActionButton contained within the CoordinatorLayout and use the layout_anchor and layout_anchorGravity attributes. The button should be placed in the bottom right corner of the screen. The recommended margin for the bottom is 16dp for phones and 24dp for tablets.

Use Only One CTA
When it comes to landing pages, there is one cardinal rule: only ever use one call to action on the page. If you give your visitors too many options on what to do, they will likely do absolutely nothing.
