Should a website have a site map?
A sitemap helps search engines discover URLs on your site, but it doesn't guarantee that all the items in your sitemap will be crawled and indexed. However, in most cases, your site will benefit from having a sitemap.
Do all pages need to be in sitemap?
People often wonder if a sitemap is truly necessary for their website. The truth is that while some smaller sites can technically get by without them, all websites benefit from them. And, all growing websites will eventually need at least one.

This should be submitted independently to the search engines to enable them serve search requests from mobile devices better, then guide them to the pages of your site. Note that mobile sitemap has to only contain links to pages with mobile web content. If not, just use the normal xml sitemap.
Which pages should be in sitemap?
Only include indexable pages in your XML Sitemap. Your XML Sitemap should only describe indexable pages. This means that you should leave out all URLs pointing to redirects (e.g. 301 status code) and missing pages (e.g. 404 status code).
