Should headings be title case or sentence case?
While sentence case is used most commonly in prose, title case is most frequently employed for headings and titles of works such as books, movies, papers, paintings, etc. News headlines employ both sentence case and title case for headings, depending on the publication.
Should buttons be sentence case?
Majority of systems do capitalize, or use title case on buttons labels. This may help in making button labels stand out as stand alone actions that aren't full sentences (e.g. Ask Question, Edit Details, Save Changes).
Should CTA buttons be title case?
Using the Title Case should be limited to writing titles, for CTA's (Call To Action) (<-Look, Title Case), you should use Sentence case because that lowers the cognitive load of reading the text.
Should buttons be capitalized?
Capitalize the first word of a sentence, heading, title, UI label (such as the name of a button or checkbox), or standalone phrase. Capitalize proper nouns. To learn more about proper nouns, see Nouns and pronouns. Use lowercase for everything else.
