This may come as a surprise to you, but individual data ownership rights, which would give individuals the right to own and control their personal data, are not yet recognized in any jurisdiction. Nor are any such rights to personal data ownership recognized in legal scholarship.
Do you have the right to have your data erased?
This is also known as the 'right to be forgotten'.
You have the right to have your data erased, without undue delay, by the data controller, if one of the following grounds applies: Where your personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was collected or processed.
Is it important to protect personal data?
Data protection is important, since it prevents the information of an organization from fraudulent activities, hacking, phishing, and identity theft. Any organization that wants to work effectively need to ensure the safety of their information by implementing a data protection plan.
Do individuals have the right to ask their personal data to be transferred?
Individuals have the right to ask you to transmit their personal data directly to another controller without hindrance. If it is technically feasible, you should do this. You should consider the technical feasibility of a transmission on a request by request basis.
