Should I include name in email?
Provide your reader with some information about you, Pachter suggests. "Generally, this would state your full name, title, the company name, and your contact information, including a phone number. You also can add a little publicity for yourself, but don't go overboard with any sayings or artwork."
Should I always end an email with my name?
If you know your recipient and are addressing him or her by first name, in most cases you can then add just your first name. If you are writing more formally and are addressing the recipient by last name, it is usually preferable to close your email with your full name.
