What is the difference between a user account and profile?
A profile is a screen or series of screens where users expect to see their personal information, usually what they also share with everybody else. However, the user account is the system that allows them to both see and edit that information.
What is a user account profile?
A user profile is a collection of information associated with a particular user. A user profile can be defined as the explicit digital representation of the identity of the user, with respect to their operating system, software applications or websites visited.
